Inspired by my recent review of A Year of Mornings, I’m delighted to announce a new ongoing post series here on Victoria-E.com. Titled Pretty Pictures, I’ll be posting a collection of images from one photographer every Thursday.

Whether you need a break in your (almost over) week or are looking for regular inspiration, Pretty Pictures is what you are looking for.

Most of the images will be still life, lifestyle, nature, interior, and food photography – with some fashion, beauty, and wedding pictures thrown in now and then. Creativity comes in many forms and I’m a naturally visual person. This is a chance for me to share my favorite works with you, my fellow readers, while bringing some light into your lives at the same time.

I can’t think of anyone better to feature in my first Pretty Pictures post than Thayer Allyson Gowdy. Her work is consistently beautiful, soft, emotional, and uplifting.
