Remember the Rainforest When Shopping with Your Envirosax + EXCLUSIVE GIVEAWAY!
Long-time readers will known full well about my adoration of Envirosax. Currently, I have four of these darlings rolled up in my purse, ready for any purchases that come along. In the past, I’ve keep you posted about their swank bamboo and hemp collection, which was recently expanded.
Straight out of Australia comes more news from my favorite (and the original) designer reusable bag company. As part of their graphic series of bags comes the brand new Botanica collection.

The Botanica Series is “inspired by the earth’s beautiful, lush and bountiful rainforests. Bold in color and imagery, Botanica is a daily reminder of Mother Earth’s natural splendor!” Even since the beginning of the Envirosax brand, rainforests have been near and dear to the original husband-and-wife team.
In an earlier interview, I learned a lot about the formerly damaged Australia rainforest the couple live sustainable in. Additionally, there is a fantastically informative article about endangered rainforests around the world on the company’s website.

unfortunately i still use my plastic bags for “pet clean up” (aka, pooperscooping). I’ve been meaning to get biodegradable bags for this but just haven’t bit the bullet yet
. Great giveaway going here!
I use my brown bags as wrapping paper for packages.
Probably like most people—I use the plastic bags as trash bags (for the smaller trash cans). And whenever I go and visit my mom & take a bunch, as she uses them to clean up doggy poo.
I find another use for them.
I have made the switch to cloth bags for groceries, but when I do get paper bags, I give them to my little sister. She tears them up to use as shaving to line her guinea pig’s cage! It’s a win-win situation: the paper bag gets reused for one more life and she has a very happy guinea pig on her hands.
I use the plastic bags as garbage bags in my kitchen and bathroom. I find more and more stores aren’t automatically offering bags anymore and I put small purchases in my purse and often have a reusable bag for bigger purchases. The great thing about the Envirosax that you are offering is that they fold up so tiny. They look like they would easily fit in a small purse, which is very handy!
reuse and recycle thanks for the giveaway
I do use plastic grocery bags when I forget my reuseables, but I need them. I double them and use them when I scoop my cat’s litter box. I haven’t found a better more eco-friendly method of cleanup than that. I’m open to suggestion. I hope I win, I love these bags and can surely use one.
I use them as lunch sacks for my hubby.
I use ours to take camping for our trash. I also use them when I clean out the cat boxes.
The majority of my plastic bags are used to scoop dog and cat doo-doo. Once a month though, our family volunteers at a local food shelf and we bring a bunch to send food home with these people.
I use the plastic bags for kitty litter disposal and paper bags are recycled.
I use paper bags to contain any shredded documents I have on recycling day and i still use plastic grocery bags for my household garbage…..but now that I typically take cloth bags to the grocery store, finding bags for the trash is getting difficult.
I try really hard not to have any paper of plastic bags. Sometimes it cant be helped and I will use the bags for doggy doo pick up or for art projects with the kids. (painting on paper then crumpling bags to make a neat design on the paper) more but thats all I can think of at the moment

I take them back to the grocery store.
I recycle mine at the grocery store. Thanks for the chance.
I use the paper sacks to bundle my newspapers and take them to the recycling center.
The plastic bags just seem to accumulate and multiply. When I cupboard becomes truly overrun I will remember to drop them off for recycling.

I also use plastic bags for trash bags…but I try to make them last longer than just one use if possible. As for the brown paper bags, I like to use them to wrap gifts in whenever I get them.

We put them in our pantry in a big paper bag and use them for transporting items or for garbage. As other people have commented, we also use them to clean up after our dog Irwin outside; he is messy! Thanks for the nice giveaway.
I use old plastic bags as trash bags. I do use reusable bags but unfortunately not everyone in my house does
. The ones I don’t use I take to the recycling center. The Botanica envirosax look great, but the way, love that first pattern!
I used the plastic bag for lining our garbage/trash bin inside the house and top it with our DIY newspaper bag…. If there weren’t any liquid..we just throw out the paper bag….and re-used the plastic…
and sometimes, i bring them to the grocery together with reusable bag…..
I use them when I walk my dogs (after I’ve used them to pack my lunch in– so at least they get used three times before they’re thrown out).
Thanks for the giveaway.

I use them for trash can liners!

I use them for smaller trashcans, and also my father in law holds antique shows, so I save them for him to put peoples items in when he sells stuff!
For my plastic bags, I give them to a friend of mind and she uses them to make really unique hand bags. She made me a big one that I use for the beach. They are really cute and strong and very unique.
I use it to line the bathroom trash. To put and tie my sons dirty diapers in and to clean put the car.
I save the plastic bags and take them back to the store for recycling. I use the brown paper sacks to take back to the store and reuse for groceries. When they are too weak for that, I put paper recycling in them and send them off to the recycler.
When I forget my cloth bags {more often than I’d like to admit} I use plastic ones as pooper scoopers, and paper ones to recycle our paper goods. Thanks for the contest!
my family’s still adjusting to using our cloth bags any time we do any kind of shopping, so for now plastic bags line the trash.
when i feel crafty i recycle all paper that’s already gotten a good use out of it kindergarten-style, with a frame, wire mesh, and a blender!
I use them instead of bubble wrap when sending packages.
I no longer use plastic bags. I use cloth bags. I also knitted some to take shopping with me.

I use only cloth bags now but often my family will bring things to my home in plastic. Our grocery store recycles them so I just take them on my next trip.
I have long been using canvas bags for all of my shopping (food and other), but prior to using canvas bags, I reused my paper grocery bags until they were no longer in decent shape. Then I would recycle the bag and have it serve one last purpose by containing all of my paper recycling. I rarely receive plastic bags, but the ones I store the ones I have for various uses such as to collect dirty kitty litter (I use one bag for weeks and do not dispose of it until it is full) or to cover shoes to be packed when traveling. If the bags are no longer usable, I recycle them at my local supermarket. I reuse plastic produce bags as much as possible as well (and have them handy by keeping them in my canvas bags). Thanks so much for this giveaway!
I have knit a bag out of plastic bags.

my daughter uses the plastic ones for lunchbags, and i use the paper ones to hold recyclables and to line the rabbits’ cage!
I use recyclable Chico bags when shopping, but sometimes lately use plastic to dispose of kitty poop. Wish there were a healthier way to do this! Also use leftover bags, plastic/paper, to dispose of recyclables, whether placing in my apt. recycle bin, or to hold used clothing when dropping in my community bin. Also, our grocery store recycles. However, at the rate my cat poops, I can use all that I have (-;
this is one of the cutest ones out there so far, but we need these in colorado.
