Remy C Brings Me “In The Loop” with A Lively Interview

Remy C Brings Me It is always a hoot to talk to my East Coast eco-friend Remy Chevalier. Drawbacks of nuclear power, sustainable fashion, developments in the NYC green world - there is always a lively discussion between the two of us.

This time, he recruited me to be interviewed for the In The Loop blog from online store Greenloop. Some of you may remember, I used to write for the In The Loop blog, so showing up on the site again is quite exciting.

Knowing Remy’s extensive variety of green interests, I had no idea what to expect in the way of questions. I was delighted to talk about an unexpected variety of topics - tattoos, modeling agencies, latex, my favorite eco-fashion blogs, and more!

If you’ve ever wanted to know more about me but just weren’t sure what to ask, then this interview is for you. Also, if you haven’t been to In The Loop yet, now is the best time to visit.

Since I adore both my new and long-time readers, here is a sneak peak at my most blunt interview to date:

Remy: You’re part of this new breed of model who blends her career with environmental activism. It’s no longer an after thought, you integrate the two. How does that work?

Victoria: Being a green or eco-model was just a natural part of my career progress. I’ve been modeling since I was 6 and being able to work with sustainable companies and organizations is a fantastic opportunity. Being a green model isn’t just about wearing organic cotton clothing and being mindful of how much you travel - there are many more elements, such as make-up, hair products, locations … etc. There is no rule anywhere that says you can’t be beautiful and sustainable - if national parks can do it, why can’t models?
