Earth Day: Come and Gone in Silence
A warm hello and Happy (late) Earth Day to everyone out there reading Victoria-E.com!
I just wanted to drop in and let you know that I haven’t forgotten about my ever-growing blog - new posts will be up soon. For the past few days, I’ve been spending my time on the couch with a bag of cough drops and a number of tissue boxes. Yup, you guessed it - a Spring cold.
Thankfully, I was able to check the San Francisco Zoo for the first time with my mother (visiting from Connecticut) during the weekend, before this cold really took hold. Below are some pictures from our visit. Enjoy!

Last but not least, it is bittersweet for me to announce that my move to Portland has been canceled for the time being. I’ll be staying here in San Francisco for at least another year, if not 2 or 3. To all my Portland friends, do not fret - I’ll be visiting next year, I promise.

Hey Victoria, those pictures you took at the San Fransisco Zoo are great makes me want to go to the zoo here in San Antonio, Tx. Did they do anything at the zoo for Earth Day? Love the blog I’ll be back I’m sure.

Ahoy Jason,
SF Zoo did have a celebration the day after we went (Sunday) for Earth Day, but my mum was headed back to Connecticut that morning so we went on Saturday - spent just over 2 hours there. I sure do love animals, but seeing them in a zoo can be bittersweet.
